Next a story in Baltimore Is stirring up trouble. A student with other beliefs says he wasn't accepted into a college because of his beliefs. Brandon Jenkins (student) is suing the college for discrimination. The college says that they weren't discriminating but that they were offended by his comment, " God is not a good answer." What do you think? Comment and tell me.

My Life

MY LIFE

So today instead of my normal hockey post I decided to post about my life. So over the weekend I had some hockey goalie camps. My favorite part though was that I got to spend the whole weekend with my dad. We saw Robocop it is a long idea you would have to see it but it is really cool. We also went to dinner and I don't remember the name it is. But I do know that all of this is in Charlotte. We saw the movie for only $4.50 I know that is very cheap this is because it was an old movie.

 I really hope that they make a Robocop two. If they do I am going to see it on opening night. Now I know that you are thinking why should I care I could not care less about your life. Well then I will tell you step by step. First put your hand on the mouse ( the one that is on your table or whatever). Next move the cursor on to the x button. Last click with your finger on the left side the one that you usually click with. That is how you exit out of the screen. 

My first dog

Hi it's me again and i'm going to blog about my life. So a few years ago on new years day my first dog died. I was really sad, he was with me for most of my life (like 11 years). But like all animals he had to go. My whole family was sad, I didn't know what to do. So we got a new dog Daisy, my old dogs name was Meanness. I know weird name but i'll tell you the story of how he got his name. So the shelter was going to have a barbeque so they had thirty pounds of meat, in the refridgerator. So Meanness found the meat, opened the refrigerator and ate all the meat. So thats how he got his name.

Hi I am Janai, i'm a 8th grader at Charter Day School. My hobbies consist of music, cheer, and watching movies. I enjoy being around family, they are what makes me happy. I live in Riegelwood NC, I have 2 brothers and 1 sister. I don't like them because they are so annoying I just want to throw them out of a window and I wouldn't care, but I guess I have to because they are my brothers and sister. I am the oldest out of all three of them so have to set the bar for when they get older. My favorite kind of food is chinese food, especially egg rolls, they are my favorite. My favorite color is purple and baby blue. 

 I have been to Disney World twice, once in 2011, then I just went last year. Both years I went was when I went with my cheer team to nationals, the first year I was on peewee(the in the middle age group) and we got 1st place, this previous year I went with the midgets(the older age group) and we also got 1st place, which was really exciting. We might go this year to go visit my uncle that I haven't seen in like forever!! I only met him 2 or 3 times before. My favorite marvel charactor is Captin America, he is amazing! I want to go see that new movie, Captin America: Winter Solider, I hear that it's like really good! So, Bye... Until next time!

Hey! Today I want to talk about the newest update on the Yankees Pitcher, Micheal  Pineda, after officials found a tar like substance on his neck. Hes not the first pro to use tar to better his pitches. Corked bats, greased balls, most seen but how many were not? In football players open up about what actually happens in a pile up just to get a fumble. " Biting, spitting and many more just to get that precious fumble." ESPN says. In soccer players even fake injuries. One pro soccer player rode out on a stretcher to come back out walking like it had been a miracle. 


ON other news the FDA finally give the famous electric cigarettes rules. The FDA put e-cigarettes under the same category of other tobacco products, making them take the same bans as cigarettes have, like not being able to sell to minors or putting their commercials on the air. The producers would also have to put health warnings on everything dealing with the electric cigarettes.

The Blackhawks and the Blues series

     The series is tied at two to two with an astonishing victory last night of 4-3 I personally did not get a chance to see it but i hope you did. The highlight of the game was when the Blackhawks had a empty net wrap around but the player stopped it. If I were in that position I don't know how I would be feeling. I am personally glad that the lightning are out of the series I never ever liked them. The team I want to win is either the Blackhawks or the you are gonna hate me the flyers. I dont want the  penguins to win though oh and another team I like is the bruins.

The stanley cup games

 So with the Blackhawks beating the St Louis Blues the Blackhawks are that much closer to getting another shot at the Stanley Cup. This series is not going to slow down in fast paced action or in goals. Because in the Stanley Cup it is do or die. But that game was hilarious in penalties I mean who gets a too many men on ice any more.

Hi! My name is Skylar, i am 12 years old and in the 6th grade. And ill be blogging about world event and dates adding as many pictures as possible, but for now ill tell you a little about me.  My favorite subject is Social Studies with Mr. Hodges. As you can tell my favorite color is blue and green.  I live in Leland, NC. I was born in downtown Wilmington though. My favorite sport is probably volleyball or soccer. I have many friends at my school CDS or Charter Day School. 


Hmmm, something no one knows is probably that I am in a very small volleyball league. I love to go to the beach and play, or to skate. I love North Carolina but I have to admit that Texas come close to being my favorite. I want to be a lawyer when I grow up, with a major in world history. I want to go to Disney once. Hello, my name is Madison. I am in sixth grade,I live in North Carolina.I have two pets, a cat named Sami and a dog named Daisy. I also have a niece, her name is Bailee. I have a lot of family on  the east coast of North America. My dad is a doctor and a machinic. My mom is a nurse and works at a college. Most of my uncles are milatary chiefs along with my dad. My favorite cousin is Julia just because she's like my sister and she understands what i feel. I love all my family.

Hi my name is Nate London I love the color pink. I play hockey, lacrosse and soccer in the future I will play baseball. But I will be blogging about just hockey. I have a pet dog named Carley. Yes I know this is not how most people spell Carley but my family does. I have an annoying brother that looks just like me. I have a cousin also annoying and my mom and dad who are together.

I think playing baseball will be fun. I don't know but I think I will have to do it instead of lax/lacrosse. I also do travel hockey which means I am really good at goalie. I have a best friend who is also a goalie.   So in the championship game he was sick right before the game. But on the bright side I got to play.
